Harvest operations are most advanced in the southwest.

Agrologist Terry Bedard reports that overall, 44 per cent of the crop is combined in the southwest.

She says provincially, the winter wheat crop is 91 per cent combined, fall rye is 82 per cent combined, while peas and lentils are about 65 per cent complete.

In the southwest, 99 per cent of the winter wheat and fall rye is harvested, 95 per cent of the peas and 84 per cent of the lentis.

Bedard adds that in the southwest,  69 per cent of the mustard is combined, 49 per cent of the canola and 46 per cent of the barley.
