Three seperate cases of West Nile Virus in humans for 2007 was confirmed yesterday in Saskatchewan.

     The people affected included two residents from Regina and one from the Yorkton area.

     Testing of mosquito pools continues here in the Cypress Health Region, with none testing positive to date.

     Residents are reminded to protect themselves from the virus by remembering to use bug repellents, wearing long-sleeved clothing, and avoid the outdoors during the early morning and evening hours.
