The Swift Current Innovation Credit Union Wildcats rebounded from a 2-0 loss to the Notre Dame Hounds on Saturday with a 4-1 win over the visiting Hounds on Wednesday night at S3 Arenas.

Kyra Anderson opened the scoring for Notre Dame 2:12 into the game, but Jerzey Watteyne tied the game 49 seconds later to start a run of four straight goals for the Wildcats. Addison Eurich and Cydny Price also scored in the first period, and Calla Campen scored on the power play early in the second period.

Sadie Keller had three assists and Caitlyn Perlinger also picked up two helpers. Karlee Lehner made 32 saves as Notre Dame outshot the Wildcats 33-27.

The Wildcats (9-4-0-0) handed the Hounds their first loss of the season and will face the Battlefords Sharks in Rosetown on Saturday. Their next game in Swift Current will be against Notre Dame on January 8.
