Kites will dot the sky just southwest of Swift Current all weekend as the annual Windscape Kite Festival gets underway.
The two-day event features some of the best kite flyers in the region, and even other parts of the world, as well as games, music and fun activities for people of all ages. There will also be mainstage entertainment at 11:00am and 3:00pm each day.
The festival is located at the corner of 11th Ave SW and Marston Street in Swift Current today and tomorrow, and admission to the grounds is free.
The Long Day's Night Music Festival also continues this weekend at that same site with Jordan Cook tonight and Elliott Brood tomorrow. Tickets are available at the door.
