Jordan Wittman was recently called up by the Swift Current Broncos, but has spent this season as a key member of the Home Hardware Legionnaires

Stewart Valley native Jordan Wittman lived his dream recently in playing his first two career WHL games with the Swift Current Broncos.

"It's fast and a bit more skill than I'm used to playing," says Wittman who enjoyed the experience of transitioning to the Western Hockey League level. "I just had to watch my man more and get pucks in deep toward the net."

Wittman was called up for the recent Bronco games against Prince Albert and Medicine Hat due to a string of injuries.

His Midget AAA Home Hardware Legionnaires teammate Zac Mckay also got the call and will be staying with the Broncos for their road trip to Cranbrook, Red Deer and Edmonton this week.

That first game against the Kootenay Ice is tonight and we'll have the call on The Eagle 94.1 starting at 7:30 pm.

Meanwhile, the Legionnaires will be participating in the Kelowna International Major Midget Tournament, starting today against the Okanagan Academy.
