The Swift Current Wolverines split a pair of games against the Prince Albert Predators in junior lacrosse action at S3 Arenas on the weekend.

Riley Pribl had a goal and two assists and Carter Michaluk, Kaiden Fletcher, Austin Klimm and Grady Henderson also scored as the Wolverines fell 8-5 to PA on Saturday, before Swift Current rebounded with a 10-6 win on Sunday. Pribyl had five goals in Sunday’s game, while Austin Klimm had three goals and a helper, Michaluk had a goal and four assists and Adam Zanidean added a goal.

The Wolverines (2-1) head to Regina for two games against the Barracudas on Sunday.

Rampage lacrosse results

Local Rampage lacrosse teams had a busy weekend. 

The U11's were in Regina where they beat Weyburn 4-2 and lost 17-3 to Regina, U13 #1 visited Weyburn where they fell 14-5 to Regina before defeating Weyburn 4-2. U13 #2 tied Moose Jaw 4-4 and beat Moosomin 9-1 at home, and the U-15's also tied Moose Jaw 4-4 and beat Regina 9-3. The U17's were in Estevan where they went two-for-three on the weekend. 

A number of local players are also on the South Saskatchewan Stealth tier A teams, with the U13's winning 13-8 and 12-1 over the Saskatoon Swat, the U15's winning 10-7 and and 4-2 over Saskatoon and the U17 Stealth winning 14-8 and 7-6 over the North Sask Predators.
