The Initiation Sharks and Flames won a recent contest, where the reward was playing a game against the Broncos at the Credit Union iplex.

The two young teams were among eight teams competing for the chance to play the Broncos in a fun game.

Six-year-old Hunter Ginther sold 17 tickets on his own, which was the most of any of the players.  He was awarded an autographed stick by Justin Dowling and Derek Claffey.

Six-year-old Ethan Murdoch was bubbling after the game.  "I think both teams did really good, and I scored a big goal!  One of the Bronco players pushed it under the goalie's leg, and I snuck it in."

All eight Swift Current Initiation teams sold tickets to a Broncos game, raising funds for their division, as the Broncos donated a portion back to the Initiation division.
