The Southwest Youth Emergency Shelter has advanced to the second round of the Aviva Community Fund Competition.

"All the credit goes to the community for getting online and voting for us," said Bob Hale, the president or the Southwest Youth Emergency Shelter, who also stresses the importance of continuing to support the initiative throughout the competition.

"It seems that people are getting behind this idea," he added. "We live in a community where people care about each other, and care about the youth in the community, so it's really been very heartening to see the support in the community, so I hope people will continue that and show Aviva that Swift Current is a place where people do care about each other."

Voting for the second round ends on November 3rd, and you can cast your vote online at avivacommunityfund.org.
