The male youth that was charged with planting a pipebomb by the Swift Current Branch Library in June was back in Swift Current Provincial Court yesterday.

The male, whose name can't be published under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was back in custody after initially receiving bail.

He has new charges, on top of his previous charges of possession of an explosive without lawful excuse and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

Now he also faces new assault charges, three breaches, mischief, resisting arrest, and uttering threats.

His next appearance is scheduled for November 7.
