Stolen trailer, impaired driving highlight Rosetown/Kyle RCMP activity
The Rosetown/Kyle RCMP released their weekly activity summary for Oct. 22 to 30, 2025, reporting a mix of traffic incidents, thefts, and mischief complaints across the West Central Saskatchewan region. The week began with minor incidents, including an abandoned vehicle near Sovereign and a mischief complaint at a Rosetown business. Several well-being checks were conducted in Rosetown throughout the week. On Oct. 26, RCMP received a complaint of a theft from a Rosetown business, an investigation that remains ongoing. Later, an abandoned U-Haul trailer near Forgan was traced to a theft from Humboldt. RCMP also responded to a two-vehicle collision near Zealandia, reporting minor injuries. Traffic-related issues were notable, with 72 charges issued over the week. A driver was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle south of Rosetown on Oct. 29 after erratic driving was reported on Highway 4, while another driver on Highway 7 received a warning for erratic driving. Other complaints included a stolen tire report near Herschel, an injured badger near Prairie View Park Campground, and ongoing illegal garbage dumping in the RM of Harris.
