DSAC has helped host the P.A.R.T.Y. program (Prevention of Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth)
P.A.R.T.Y. has been hosted several times for grade 10 students at the Comp High School and is an incredible program that utilizes the full school day with volunteers from various key agencies such as RCMP, Fire, EMS & Cypress Health Region's ER and Therapy units, local Funeral home and they discuss their respective roles in the aftermath of a traumatic event. It's a very powerful day of learning! Unfortunately, this program has been put on hold due to funding for licensing.
Cast your VOTE for Drug Strategy Action Committee for a chance to recieve a $5000 donation from SWT before Dec. 29th.
