This is what it all comes down to for the 15U Junior SunDogs girls volleyball club team, as they're off to provincials this weekend.

"I'd like to call us the 'Sunderdogs', because people don't expect us and that what I like," said coach Tyler Byers. "People think you're a nobody and you got to show them you're a somebody, so it's exciting to watch them do well."

Byers says they have proven they can beat some of the best teams at their level: "We have one of the top teams in our pool, actually, one of the QCVC Regina teams, and we've taken them down twice this year, and there has been teams at the end of that just saying, 'Are you kidding me? You beat QCVC?', so we've taken down some of the top teams."

Byers says they have been somewhat inconsistent this season, but have the ability to compete, and adds the 15U girls put in some extra practice time and are ready to go.
