The 18U AAA 57's were on the road for two double headers to kick off the season.

Saturday in Saskatoon, the 18U 57's were in the bridge city, where they dropped both tilts against the Saskatoon Giants.

Game 1 was a 15-5 loss, with the 18U club on the wrong end of an 18-8 effort in Game 2.

Then on Sunday in Regina, the 18U AAA 57's split with the Wolfpack.

Swift Current used two hits from Nate McInnis, Ethan Murdoch, and Kelsey Rokochy, as the AAA 57's earned a 12-3 win.

Brody Alexandre pitched four innings for the win, allowing one un-earned run on three hits, punching out seven batters, while walking four.

However, Game 2 was a 10-2 loss for Swift.

After the four contests, McInnis leads the way for Swift Current at the plate, racking up a lofty .500 average with four singles, a double, triple, and three RBI.

Also of note is Murdoch's team-leading .667 on-base percentage, thanks to four walks, three hits, and a hit-by-pitch over 12 at-bats.

The 18U AAA 57's have an exhibition game at home against Medicine Hat on Wednesday, before heading up to Lloydminster for a double header against the Northwest Prairie Pirates on Saturday.
