The Swift Current 57's crushed the Moose Jaw Miller Express in their final meeting of the 2018 regular season. Swift piled on a dozen runs in a 12-2 victory on the road.

Blake Adams went 3-for-5 at the plate with two solo homers, while the speedy Anthony Stewart cleared the fence for his first big fly of the season.

Stewart went 2-for-5 with a game-high four RBI, while Ruben Rodriguez chipping in a pair of runs driven in and Ethan Hunter ripped three hits.

Garrett Hawkins moved to 3-0 on the year, earning the win with a five-inning performance giving up two runs on just two hits, while racking up seven strikeouts.

Aaron Pugh and Spencer Koelewyn each pitched two innings of scoreless ball in relief of Hawkins. They both surrendered one hit, while Koelewyn K'd up four Miller Express batters.

The win meant the 57's leapt ahead of the Regina Red Sox in the Eastern Division standings, after the Red Sox were shut out 2-0 by the Weyburn Beavers.

Though they've played three more games than the Red Sox, the 57's (24-18) sit a half-game ahead of Regina (22-17) with six and nine games remaining, respectively.

The two teams meet tonight for the final time this season in Regina at 7:05 p.m.
