Game 2 of a three-game set between the Swift Current 57's and Edmonton Prospects was another low-scoring night, this time swinging in favour of the visiting Prospects.

After Swift Current won 3-2 in a 10-inning affair on Tuesday, the Prospects took a 4-2 Wednesday night win over the 57's.

Third baseman Breyden Eckout and first baseman Ryan Magdic both had an RBI apiece in the loss, while designated hitter Toby Allred went a team-best 3-for-4 at the plate.

Logan Garza was charged with the loss for Swift Current, though allowing just two runs on six hits over 4-1/3, while striking out six. Aaron Pugh and Finnegan Duffield pitched 2-1/3 innings apiece, both allowing one run.

Of note in the loss, centre fielder Calen Schwabe (pictured above) made his 57's debut. The product of North Dakota State University went 1-for-4 hitting out of the six hole.

The 57's look to take the rubber match with the Prospects tonight. Game 3 has a 7:05 p.m. start from Mitchell Field.
