The offence was on display early and often in Melville Thursday night as the Swift Current 57's cruised to their fourth straight victory.

Swift Current scored at least a run in each of the first six innings en route to an 8-3 win over the Millionaires.

Jagger Harjo made his first career start as a member of the 57's and delivered five shut-out innings, giving up just two hits and two walks while striking out three.

It did not take long for Swift Current to get Harjo a lead to work with, in fact, before the Midwest City, Oklahoma native had even take the mound, the 57's were out in front.

A Blake Adams sacrifice fly in the top of the 1st gave Swift Current a 1-0 lead, which they would quickly add to.

In the 2nd, Mason Brown hit into a fielder's choice to score a run, before a Grant Van Scoy single and a Melville error cashed in two more runs in the top of the 3rd giving the 57's a 4-0 edge.

Swift Current continued to add on the runs in the middle innings.

Brett Esau worked a bases-loaded walk in the 4th, increasing the lead to 5-0.

In the 5th, Swift Current added two more runs with a Riley Campbell double and Adams' second sacrifice fly of the game, before tallying one more run in the 6th on another Melville error.

Making relief appearances, Garrett Goodall pitched 2-1/3 innings and was charged with three runs, Trey Taylor worked 1/3 of an inning giving up two hits, and Keil Krumewiede through 1-1/3 scoreless innings.

Of note, Blake Adams' performance at the plate got himself closer to the Swift Current record books.

With the two more runs-batted-in, the Longview, Texas native now has 32 on the season and is just 14 back of tying Eros Modena's franchise record of 46 set in 2014.

Also pushing towards the record books, Riley Campbell swiped his 25 stolen base of the season in the win.

Currently leading the WMBL in the statistic, Campbell sits just 13 back of Josh Johnson's team record of 38, also from 2014.

Center fielder Matt Bondarchuk is also not far off the pace with 20 steals so far this summer.

Swift Current will return to action on Friday night when they wrap-up their three game road trip in Moose Jaw.

The 57's will then return to Mitchell Field Saturday night for a date with Weyburn.
