A two-out, 8th inning Nik Gumeson triple to the wall helped turn the game around for the Swift Current Indians last night.

Gumeson tied the game on the hit over the Centre Fielder's head, and then scored on a wild pitch during the very next at bat.  Gumeson says there wasn't a lot of respect shown by the Yorkton fielder.  "The guy is playing 200 feet (deep)... we were just waiting all game to burn him, and it came at a good time.  I couldn't ask for a better hit.  Just a momentum shift right there."

The Indians held on for a 7-6 win to run their record to a Central Division-leading 14-8.

The comeback wouldn't have been possible if not for a solid relief performance from Wandy Rosario.  Rosario tossed three scoreless innings, allowing only one hit to get credit for the win on the mound.  "I told Coach, give me the ball, I'm going to fire up my team.  That's what I did, I kept my team in the game."

     The Indians have tonight off.
