Looking to close out the Rebels at home, the Diamond Energy Female Midget 'AAA' Wildcats will host Regina in game four of their best of five series Tuesday night.

Carrying a two games to one series lead into tonight's contest, Wildcats Head Coach Terry Pavely says setting the pace early on will be crucial in trying to end the series.

"For us, we have to get our feet moving and control the play," he said.

"We think that when we cycle we have the advantage of their defence and that is going to be a big part for us. It's not all about always getting right into the offensive zone and getting a scoring chance, it is about controlling the play, controlling the tempo, and if we do that early on I think it bodes well for us."

The opening round series features the league's two top scorers, in Swift Current's Taylor Lind and Regina's Kennedy Bobyck.

Lind so far has posted two goals and three assists in the series, while Bobyck has three goals and one assist.

All three of Bobyck's goals came in Regina's 6-0 Game 2 victory.

Pavely says it's no coincidence that the Rebels picked up the victory when Bobyck was able to get her name all over the scoresheet.

"We almost have to make it a two-on-one whenever she gets the puck, where she is going down and we have our defense in front of her and someone right in her hip-pocket chasing her down," he said.

"It just makes it a little bit tougher for her to beat people when we do that. When she does get the puck in the offensive zone we have to close on her quick. Just like any good player you need to take away their time and space, and we have done a good job of that in two of the three games."

The winner of the series will advance to face the top-seeded Saskatoon Stars, following Melville's 3-1 series clinching victory over Notre Dame Monday night.

The Prairie Fire will now advance to take on the Prince Albert Bears in the other semi-final.

Puck drop for Tuesday night's game four is scheduled for 7:45pm from Fairview West.
