They were a AA team playing in a AAA tournament but it almost didn't matter.
The Swift Current AA Mosquito Indians came just short of taking home the title in a AAA tournament in Regina over the weekend losing 9-8 in the championship game.
The team finished atop the standings in round robin play which qualified them to play for the championship.
