The Comp High School Ardens soccer team have clinched their 10th straight regular season title after two more wins this weekend.

They beat Central Collegiate 2-0 and Vanier Collegiate 5-0 in a doubleheader in Moose Jaw Saturday, and also extended their unbeaten streak to 62 matches. Grade 10 rookie Brooke Vallee had five goals over the two matches, including a natural hat trick in the second game. Grade 10 Haley Bissonette scored the other goals of the day for Swift Current.

The Ardens wrap up the regular season Thursday at home against Vanier.

In high school golf, Corey Bailey of Shaunavon picked up a silver medal at the provincial grass green championships at the Evergreen Centre in Nipawin, finishing with an even par 144 over two rounds, two strokes behind the winner from Prince Albert. Eariler this season, Bailey won the Saskatchewan Junior Boys Golf Championship on that same course. The Comp High School boys won bronze in the team competition.

The lone female golfer from the southwest, Hannah MacNeil of Shaunavon, placed fifth in her competition.

On the sand greens, Sydney Onerheim of Frontier won the gold and Danica Casat, also of Frontier, won silver at provincials in Radville and their team from Frontier won silver. On the boys' side, Taron Ham was 6th, Ben Dumontel was 12th and Landon Jarmon was 20th, all from Frontier.
