16 teams took the field for two days full of games at the 11th annual Moose Jaw Soccerfest.

Regina LeBoldus claimed this year’s title with a 4-0 win over Swift Current in the A side final on Saturday afternoon at Sunningdale Field.

Notre Dame knocked off Prince Albert St Mary’s 4-3 on penalty kicks in the consolation final.

Vanier was the top finishing Moose Jaw team, coming in eighth place after losing in the B pool to Yorkton Scared Heart 6-0.  
Peacock lost to Weyburn in the C side final 5-2 to finish in 10th place, while Central won the C side consolation game 3-1 over Balgonie Greenall.

Tournament commissioner Sandi Hutchinson says it was a fantastic weekend for soccer, “The weather was great, which always helps out when you're playing soccer.  Lots of really close games, and all the teams that came in had a great time in Moose Jaw.”
