The Swift Current Comp Ardens soccer team went undefeated, working clean sheets in three of four games, earning their first-ever Moose Jaw Soccerfest tournament title over the weekend.

The Ardens throttled the Notre Dame Hounds 12-0 in their opener on Friday. Highlighted in the win were hat-tricks from both Heidi Spetz and MJ Anderson. Jasmine Temoshawsky earned the shutout.

Rounding out Day 1, the Ardens overcame a pair of deficits (1-0 and 2-1) to double up the Regina LeBoldus Golden Suns 4-2. An even scoring distribution saw goals from Jaycee Berggren, Tenille Willows, Jannae Carlson, and Olivia Koebel.

Into Day 2, it was a slim 1-0 win over the Regina O'Neill Titans in the semi-final for the Ardens, who used an Anderson goal and shutout from Temoshawsky to advance to a matchup against Prince Albert St. Mary.

There, Carlson scored twice, and Anderson, Willows, and Spetz added singles, as the Ardens worked a 5-0 win over the Marauders. In a recurring theme, Temoshawsky again worked the shutout in tournament final.

The Ardens are back to league play on Wednesday, as they host Moose Jaw Vanier at Irwin Field. That match starts at 4:30 p.m.
