This past weekend marked the end of the tournament season for the Swift Current Comp Sr Ardens Basketball season.

The Ardens went 2-1 in Weyburn at the five-team round-robin tournament, serving as a tune-up ahead of a push towards Provincials.

Game 1 was a 52-46 win over Yorkton. Kennedy Choo Foo, Brooklyn Choo Foo, and Mackenzie Veason all contributed an even 10 points for the Ardens in the win.

Game 2 was higher scoring and even tighter, as the Ardens came away with a 68-66 win over Estevan. Kennedy Choo Foo led the way with 15, Ali Vance had 14, and Veason had 11.

The lone loss came in Game 3 against the host team from Weyburn Comprehensive School.

The Ardens dropped the contest 61-43 with a team-high 14 from Vance. Madison Mortensen chipped in 9 and both Brooklyn Choo Foo and Taylor Dickie each had 6.

Swift is right back in Weyburn for SHSAA Regional Basketball this upcoming weekend.
