Five othe WHL playoff games last night.

     The Medicine Hat Tigers took a 2-1 series lead with a 5-3 win in Red Deer.  The Tigers took an early 3-0 first period lead and never looked back.

     Elsewhere, the Kamloops Blazers are on the brink of playoff elimination.  Prince George scored two late third period goals to win 4-3 and take a 3-0 series lead.  In the other BC division series, the Vancouver Giants blanked Chilliwack 4-0 to take a 2-1 series advantage.  

    In the U.S. division, the Spokane Chiefs held on for a 3-2 win over Everett to get back in that best-of-seven.  Everett still leads 2-1.   Seattle beat Tri-City 3-1, the Thunderbirds jump into a 2-1 series advantage.

    All eight playoff match-ups are back on the ice tonight.
