The Tarpon Energy Atom AA Broncos can call themselves league champions.

The Atom Broncos accomplished the feat Saturday night when they beat the Moose Jaw Warriors in Game 2 of the best of three series 6-3 to sweep the series and become South East Atom Tier I Hockey League champions.

The Broncos and Warriors were deadlocked at 2-2 entering the third period, but four goals in the final frame for the Broncos won them the game.

Derric Dularte led the way in Game 2 as he picked three goals and an assist. Ryder Woods added two goals and one assist, Parker Rondeau had a goal and an assist, and Brady Simpson had two assists.

For the series Ryder Woods led the way with six points (3G, 3A), followed by Dularte who picked up five points (3G, 2A), and Parker Rondeau who had four points (2G, 2A).

The championship wraps up a banner year for the team as the Broncos led the league with a 15-2-3 record.
