It was a night to reflect on past accomplishments and turn the page on another season.

 

     The Comp Ardens basketball team put a formal wrap to their season, which was highlighted by a Provincial Championship in March.

     Head Coach Rod Siemens says every team he coaches has a unique character trait.  "One special thing about this team is that they just didn't have any quit in them.  It didn't matter what game it was, they played hard and played to the end.  There was some games down the championship stretch that certainly looked like we weren't going to be successful, so I think that was they key component about this team."

     Grade 12 graduating player Brienna Wilms is moving on after winning two championships over her four-year high school career.  "It's awesome to get together (one last time).  It's sad to look upon tonight as our last get-together as a team, but I know that our friendships are going to last forever."
