Badgers And Elks Fall Short In Provincial Playoffs

It was a disappointing weekend for 2 Senior Hockey teams in our region vying for provincial championships.

After a convincing 9-4 win last weekend to open the Provincial 'C' Final versus Davidson, the Kyle Elks lost game 2, 4-3 to the Davidson Cyclones on Friday, and dropped last night's deciding game 3 by a 6-2 score.

In the Provincial 'B' Final, the Shaunavon Badgers were eliminated in 2 straight, losing a 4-3 double overtime game at home on Saturday before coming up short 4-2 yesterday versus the Drake Canucks.
