A weekend split for the Shaunavon Badgers in Sask-Alta baseball action.

In their season opener on Saturday the Badgers downed the Climax Cardinals 4-1, however they suffered their first loss of the season just a day later, dropping an 8-3 decision to Gull Lake.

League play will resume tonight with Gull Lake hosting the Cabri River Rats.
