The Bantam AA 57's emerged as champions of their home tournament over the weekend in Swift Current.

The weekend started out with round robin wins against Saskatoon and Humboldt, but a loss to Moose Jaw ended with a 2-1 record, good for second place ahead of playoffs.

Swift tripled up Saskatoon 15-5 in the semis to advance to the final. Meanwhile, Moose Jaw quadrupled up Humboldt 8-2 to advance as well.

In the final, Swift trailed 2-1 heading into the seventh and final inning.

The top-seeded Moose Jaw squad had last at-bat in the game, so the Bantam 57's had to work their magic in a rare top-half of the inning on their home field.

Swift Current did just that, scoring a trio of runs to take a 4-2 lead.

Two strikeouts from pitcher Wyatt Harkes and a ground out sealed the win for the Bantam AA 57's.

Harkes threw 90 pitches for the complete-game win in the final.
