The Kabos Bantam AA Broncos needed overtime, but came away with a 4-3 win in Game 1 of their best-of-three series with the Weyburn Wings.

The Bantam Broncos trailed by one in the final few minutes of regulation, until a goal with 3:18 remaining in the third tied the game at 3-3, forcing overtime.

The top-seeded Broncos capitalized on the powerplay with 5:40 remaining to down the tenth-place Wings.

Leading the way in scoring for Swift was Cash Arntsen, who had the game-winning-goal along with three assists.

Joe Arntsen and Ryan McCleary each added a goal and an assist, Kalan Lind chipped in a goal, while Hayden Wilm and Keagon Little both added single helpers.

Justin Dueck picked up the win for the Bantam AA Broncos, who push the Wings to the edge of elimination as the series shifts to the southeast.

Game 2 goes Monday at 8:15 p.m. from Crescent Point Place in Weyburn.
