The Pure Chem Bantam AA Broncos suffered a pair of losses on the road against North Division opponents this past weekend.

The Bantam Broncos lost 6-2 to the Martensville Marauders on Saturday.

The Marauders, who are tied at the top of both the North Division and the province, were deadlocked 2-2 through the first period with Swift Current. Broncos goals came from Riley Bowers and Colton Leahy.

However, Martensville added one in the second and three in the third period to pull away for good.

Then on Sunday, Swift Current lost 8-1 to the Saskatoon Generals - the third place team in the North Division.

Swift Current trailed 1-0 after the first, and kept it at 2-1 through eight minutes of the second period, before the flood gates opened.

The Generals added three more in the second and a trio in the third period for the seven-goal win.

The Bantam AA Broncos (6-4-0-0) are back home this weekend hosting the Prince Albert Pirates (6-5-1-1) on Saturday, and the Battlefords Barons (5-8-0-2) on Sunday at Fairview West.
