Swift Current 'AAA' 57's pitcher and third baseman Brody Alexandre spent a successful four days with Team Sask at the 2017 15U Boys' Ray Carter Cup.

The national tournament brought the best provincial teams from around the country together - Alexandre and Team Sask walked away with a bronze medal.

Up against Ontario 1, Sask stormed to an 8-4 win to secure third place. In the game, Alexandre had two hits and a pair of RBI in three at-bats. He also recorded a stolen base in the win.

For the tournament, the 6'1" righty pitched four innings for the green-and-white, striking out six batters, while giving up one run and three walks - good for a 1.75 ERA.

At the plate, Alexandre did a little bit of everything for the team, going a combined 6-for-23 with a double, triple, home run, and seven RBI. He also walked twice and stole two bases.

Team Sask went 4-2 for the tournament, out-scoring opponents 55-39 over the six games.
