Some of the best young ball players in Canada are in Swift Current this weekend
Swift Current is hosting a showcase for the top baseball prospects from the prairie provinces.
Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba are each sending their top 15 and 16 year olds to the city for a round robin tournament in front of talent scouts.
Locals BJ Moen and Reid Fritzke are on the 15 year old team while Braden Karmazinuk, and Zac Mackay are on the 16 year old team.
The tournament starts today and runs through Monday afternoon at both Mitchell and Kinsemen fields.
