It was a special weekend for Swift Current soccer player Jaycee Berggren over the weekend in Calgary.
Berggren took home the 'Golden Boot Award' at Calgary Minor Soccer Association's 'Winter Classic' tournament.
Berggren scored 11 goals for the U15 Girls BorderCreek United team, who earned a bronze medal with a 3-2 win over Leduc United, after going 2-1 in the round-robin.

Two other Swift Current and Lloydminster-combined teams were in action at the 144-team tournament.
The U13 Boys went 1-3, while the U15 Boys were 0-4 in the group stage.
The next tournament for Swift Current United and BorderCreek United teams is February 1-3 in Saskatoon.
