A busy day for the Swift Current Broncos saw them welcome back a star in Justin Dowling, and make room for him with a trade.
Coach Mark Lamb made a move to clear a 20-year-old slot for Dowling by sending veteran defenceman Travis Bobbee to Seattle for 19-year-old centre Brenden Silvester and 17-year-old defenseman Tanner Muth.
Silvester is entering his fourth WHL season and scored 14 points for the Thunderbirds last season. The 6 foot 1 Muth is entering his second year in the league and put up 5 assists as a rookie.
