The Swift Current Broncos have settled their goaltending tandem for the start of the 2016-17 WHL season.

19-year-olds Travis Child and Taz Burman are the two players left standing after the pre-season.

The Broncos re-assigned 17-year-old Bailey Brkin after he signed a WHL contract and stayed with the club through exhibition.

Child and Burman were the only goalies in the organization with WHL experience.

They finished the 2015-16 season as the team's tandem in goal sharing starts during a push for the playoffs after the trade deadline.

The Broncos open the season tomorrow night against Saskatoon at the Credit Union iPlex.
