The Swift Current Broncos looked to the blueline with their first-ever pick in the inaugural WHL U.S. Prospects Draft Wednesday afternoon.

Swift Current snagged defenseman Austin Moline ninth overall.

Moline, who hails from Las Vegas, NV played with the Los Angeles Jr. Kings 14U during the 2019-20 campaign.

Standing at just over 6-foot-1, and 145 pounds, the blueliner posted 18 goals and 32 points in 55 games.

The Broncos pick again 36th overall in the 44-selection draft.
