The Swift Current Broncos got a key home win last night, beating the Prince Albert Raiders 3-2 in front of close to 2500 fans at the Credit Union iplex.

Mark McNeill opened the scoring for Prince Albert in the second, but the Broncos replied with goals from Graham Black, Ryon Moser and Richard Nedomlel. Todd Fiddler scored for the Raiders in the third, but the Broncos held on for the win. Brad Hoban also had a pair of assists for Swift Current.

Broncos goalie Jon Groenhyde was solid in net, making 34 saves for the win. Eric Williams of the Raiders made 25 stops.

The Broncos move to 7-9-2-0 on the season, and host Calgary in their next action on Tuesday night.
