Nearly 2600 hockey fans at the Credit Union iplex saw the hometown Broncos beat the Regina Pats 4-1 last night.

   Matt Tassone had a pair of goals to lead the way for the Broncos, with Brad Hoban and Geordie Wudrick also scoring a goal each. Jordan Eberle replied for the Pats.

   Mark Guggenberger made 28 saves for the Broncos, while Linden Rowatt countered with 24 saves for the Pats.

   The win improves the Broncos record to 16-10, good for third in the East Division, three points behind the division-leading Saskatoon Blades.

   The Broncos now host the defending Memorial Cup Champion Spokane Chiefs in their only meeting this year. You can hear the game on the Eagle 94.1 with the pre-game show at 7:00pm, and the play-by-play at 7:30pm.
