For the first time in 113 home games, the Broncos were blanked.

The Chilliwack Bruins came in and Lucas Gore recorded the shutout, despite the fact that the Bruins were outshot 31-20.  The Broncos didn't help their cause, going 0-8 on the power play, including two lengthy 5-on-3 advantages.

The loss ends the Broncos' 3-game winning streak as the team sits at 31-28-0-4 on the season.

They will host Prince Albert on Sunday night at 7:00pm as the Broncos continue in their playoff search.

Waste Management of Canada, together with program partners the WHL and the Swift Current Salvation Army, are planning a food drive for that game.  They are asking fans to show their support for those less fortunate in the community by bringing a non-perishable food item or cash donation to the game.
