The BC swing has ended on a losing note for the Swift Current Broncos, as they were shut out by Prince George 6-0 last night.

Ty Rimmer stopped all 37 shots in the Cougar net, while Broncos starting goalie Mark Friesen was chased early in the second period, after allowing three goals on 16 shots. Austin Smith took over and made 24 saves.

Cougar forward Charles Inglis had a three point night, with two goals and an assist.

The Broncos wrap up the BC Division tour winning three of the five games, and head to Edmonton tonight for their second last game before the Christmas Break

In other WHL news, Kamloops Blazers forward Jordan DePape has been suspended five games for that hit on Bronco forward Killian Hutt last Friday. Hutt suffered a concussion and it's unknown when he'll return.

And Kindersley native and former Home Hardware Legionnaire Shayne Neigum is back playing in Saskatchewan. The 20-year-old forward was dealt from Kamloops to the Regina Pats in a multi-player trade announced late yesterday. The Pats sent 20-year-old Thomas Frazee to the Blazers in exchange for Neigum, 17-year-old forward Lyndon Martell and a 3rd round draft pick in 2012.
