The Swift Current Broncos had a rough season, but they finished it off on a high note with a 7-3 win over the Saskatoon Blades at Credit Union Centre Saturday night.

Christian Magnus led the way with a pair of goals and an assist, and was one of three Broncos who had three-point nights. Graham Black had a goal and two helpers, while Ryon Moser picked up three assists.

Also scoring were Coda Gordon, Adam Rossignol, Josh Derko and Brad Hoban, who picked his 21st goal of his final junior season in his final game as a Bronco.

Fellow overager Taylor Vause added an assist for his team-leading 84th point, and graduating goalie Jon Groenhyede made 23 saves in his final game, as the Broncos outshot the Blades 37-26. Andrey Makarov and Patrick Johnson combined for 30 saves in the Blades' net, with Brett Stovin, Matej Stransky, and Jake Trask scoring for Saskatoon.

That brings the season to an end for the Broncos, who finished 10th in the WHL's Eastern Conference with a 27-37-2-6 record, missing the playoffs by 20 points.
