The Broncos mounted a third-period comeback to beat the Kootenay Ice 4-2 at home last night.

The Broncos trailed 2-1 after 40 minutes; then Mike Brown scored his first of the season to tie it in the third period.  Former Kootenay Ice player Michael Stickland scored for the Broncos 19 seconds after Brown's goal, and Geordie Wudrick put it away midway through the final frame.  Keegan Dansereau opened the scoring.

Morgan Clark picked up the win for the Broncos, making 26 saves.  Todd Mathews countered with 32 stops for the Ice.

The Broncos now travel east to Brandon to visit the Wheat Kings.  You can hear that game on the Eagle 94.1FM starting with the pre-game show at 7:00pm, followed by the play-by-play at 7:30pm.
