The Swift Current Broncos ended the weekend with a 4-3 regulation loss to the Red Deer Rebels last night.

Matt Tassone scored a pair and Brad Hoban added another goal, and the Broncos also out-shot the Rebels 32-27, and had 18 shots in the third period alone.

Mark Guggenberger took the loss in the Broncos goal, making 23 saves. Darcy Kuemper countered with 29 saves for the Rebels.

The Broncos lose both games of their weekend road swing and have just one point in their last three games. Last night's setback drops the Broncos to a 16-12-0-1 record, and they now sit third in the East Division behind the Pats and Blades.

The Broncos visit Prince Albert in their next game Wednesday Night.
