The Swift Current Broncos continued their recent flurry of transactions today by dealing alternate captain Kaden Elder to the Calgary Hitmen.

It was announced this morning the 20-year-old forward was dealt to the Hitmen for a third-round pick in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.

Elder arrived in Swift Current during the 2015/16 season when he was traded to the Broncos by the Seattle Thunderbirds in exchange for Owen Seidel and a 2016 fifth round WHL Bantam Draft pick.

The former first-round WHL Bantam drafted player has tallied the Broncos lone goal this season in the teams home opener.

The Saskatoon-born centre/winger registered 36 goals, 28 assists, in 183 regular season games played with the Broncos.

He also netted 10 points in 40 playoff games with Swift Current, 9 of them coming last year in the team's WHL title run.
