It appears that the Swift Current Broncos will not have their 2009 first-round Bantam pick Evan Richardson in the mix any time soon.

Richardson has decided to play with the BCHL's Victoria Grizzlies.

Richardson, from Nanaimo, was the BC Major Midget League's top scorer this season with the North Island Silvertips.  The small, speedy forward attended Broncos training camp last fall.

In a story from Victoria Times Colonist newspaper, Richardson is going the Junior A route, but he has left the door open to make the jump to Major Junior, and the Broncos, in the future.
