The Swift Current Broncos erupted for four goals in the third period to defeat Prince Albert in a Sunday night tilt at the Credit Union iplex.

With the game tied 2-2 in the third period, Broncos' sniper Keegan Dansereau scored back-to-back goals to put the home team in the driver's seat.

The Broncos would cruise to a 6-3 win to jump back into 5th place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Matt Tassone scored his team-leading 30th goal of the season late in the third period to put the game away.  Tassone becomes the first Bronco 30-goal scorer since Jeremy Williams and Tyler Redenbach both did it in the 2003-04 season.

Geordie Wudrick, Cody Eakin, and Jordan Peddle also scored in the win, while Travis Yonkman made 29 saves for the win.

The game featured four or five fights near the end with the Broncos leading by three goals.  One of the fights included a member of the Raiders joining into the melee from the bench until he was controlled by the Raiders coaching staff.

The Broncos play their next game in Moose Jaw on Wednesday night.
