The Swift Current Broncos hung on for a 3-2 win over Red Deer to snap a six-game road losing skid, and tie the Rebels for ninth in the WHL's Eastern Conference.

The Broncos built a 3-0 lead on goals from Christian Magnus, Reece Scarlett and Taylor Vause's 23rd of the season, and the Rebels had goals from Joel Hamilton and Colten Mayor to cut the deficit.

Broncos goalie Jon Groenheyde made 38 saves for the win, while Rebels starter Deven Dubnyk was pulled after allowing three goals on 13 shots and Bolton Pouliot stopped all 15 shots he faced in relief.

Newly-acquired forward Adam Rossignol was also in the lineup for the Broncos, after coming to the team from the Kootenay Ice in a trade for Tanner Muth earlier in the day.

The Broncos wrap up a three-game road swing in Edmonton tonight, and you can hear the game on the Eagle 94.1, with the pre-game show at 7:30.
