It was back-to-back gold for Team Alberta at the Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup.

They beat BC 3-2 in overtime to take the crown.

Swift Current Broncos Director of Hockey Operations Jamie Porter was the Head Scout for Team Alberta, while Broncos prospect Carson Dyck played forward for them.

The Broncos had three other prospects in the tournament.

Logan Barlage and Nolan Renwick played for Saskatchewan.

Barlage had 4 goals and 3 assists in 5 games, while Renwick had a goal an assist.

Defenceman Jacson Alexander had a goal and two assists for the silver medal winning Team BC.

The Broncos themselves return from their BC road trip this week as they host Seattle on Friday and Spokane on Saturday.
