It'll be a tough test for the Swift Current Broncos as they host the division-leading Saskatoon Blades.
The Blades have been on a roll; they've won six games in a row as the teams meet to begin the weekend. Meanwhile, the Broncos are 7-1 on home ice after beating Kamloops 5-2 on Wednesday.
"They are as deep as anyone in the conference; they have a big physical team. Physically, they will make their way to the net. They've got some guys that combine a pretty good skill set with that size, and some defensemen that move and shoot the puck very well. It's certainly a complete group," commented Broncos Assistant Coach Tim Kehler.
It's the beginning of a busy weekend for the Broncos, who host Regina tomorrow night before heading to Regina on Sunday to complete the home-and-home set.
Tonight's game is set for 7:30pm from the Credit Union iplex. Action on the Eagle 94.1FM begins with the pre-game show at 7:00pm.
